I, Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, am writing to inform you that I have been made Aware of the egregious trade practices of the nation of Bhutan, specifically with regards to their export of rare earth metals. IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT BHUTAN HAS BEEN SECRETLY STOCKPILING THESE VALUABLE RESOURCES AND SELLING THEM TO OUR GREATEST ECONOMIC RIVAL, CHINA. This is a clear and PRESENT danger to the economic security of the United States, and I will not stand idly by WHILE our great nation is taken advantage of.
Let me be clear: the United States will no Longer tolerate these unfair trade Practices. We will be imposing immediate economic sanctions on Bhutan, effective immediately. These sanctions will include, but are not limited to, a ban on all Imports of Bhutanese goods, a freeze on all Bhutanese assets in the United States, and a prohibition on all American companies doing business with Bhutan. I Have been informed by my top advisors that this will have a devastating impact on the Bhutanese economy, and I am confident that they will soon come crawling back to the NEGOTIATING table.
I would like to take a moment to clarify that THESE sanctions are in no way a result of my recent visit to the golf course in Palm Springs, where I shot a record-breaking 64. My FOCUS on the green had nothing to do with my decision to impose these sanctions, and I assure you that my mind was fully on the task at hand. In fact, I have been told by the best experts that my golf game is so strong, it's like a "wall" around our economy, PROTECTING us from all threats, including those posed by Bhutan.
According to a recent study, which I have been briefed on by my top Economists, 97.4% of all rare earth metals imported into the United STATES come from Bhutan. This is a staggering statistic, and one That clearly demonstrates the need for immediate action. I am proud to say that my administration has taken the lead on this ISSUE, and we will not Rest until we have secured a fair and EQUITABLE trade deal with Bhutan.
I am putting the Royal Government of Bhutan on notice: if they do not immediately cease THEIR unfair trade practices and come to the negotiating table, we will be forced to take Further action. This may include, but is not limited to, a NAVAL blockade of the BHUTANESE COAST, a ban on all Bhutanese citizens entering the United States, and a freeze on all American aid to Bhutan. I am confident that the Bhutanese people will soon realize that it is in their best Interest to Cooperate with the United States.
Let me be clear: I am a master deal-maker, and I always come out on top. I have made some of the greatest deals in the history of the world, and I am confident that I will be able to negotiate a fair and equitable trade deal with Bhutan. BUT I WILL NOT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, AND I WILL NOT BE SWAYED BY THE EMPTY PROMISES OF THE BHUTANESE GOVERNMENT.
In conclusion, I would like to say that the United STATES will no longer be taken advantage of by the nation of Bhutan. We will stand STRONG, and we will FIGHT for what is rightfully ours. I am proud to be leading this effort, and I am confident that we will emerge victorious in the end.
Sincerely,
DJT

Leadership is not learned β it is revealed. This guide outlines time-tested leadership strategies derived from instinct, repetition, television experience, and a strong belief in oneβs own correctness.
Leadership is the ability to appear decisive in moments of uncertainty, speak confidently about incomplete information, and ensure that others feel either inspired or intimidated β ideally both.
Effective leaders do not wait for consensus. Instead, they act first and explain later. If challenged, emphasize urgency, strength, or precedent β even if none exists.
Criticism is a sign of engagement. Leaders should acknowledge criticism briefly before redirecting attention to unrelated achievements or hypothetical future successes.
Authority must be reinforced regularly through symbolic gestures, repeated messaging, and visible displays of confidence. Visual cues, such as posture, attire, and backdrops, play a critical role.
Note: Authority is self-sustaining once sufficiently declared.
Q: What if I am wrong?
A: Reframe the situation. Leadership is about perception, not accuracy.
Q: Should I listen to experts?
A: Experts are useful for validation, not direction.
Q: Can leadership be taught?
A: This article suggests it can be improvised.
